Editorial Policy

How we create clear, practical, responsible financial education.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Our purpose

Finlitera exists to make financial education easier to understand and use. We focus on foundational knowledge, practical decision-making, responsible risk awareness, and clear explanations without hype.

Editorial principles

  • Clarity: We explain the idea before introducing technical language.
  • Accuracy: We aim to verify factual claims using credible and relevant sources.
  • Practicality: Content should help readers understand a decision or take a sensible next step.
  • Balance: We explain benefits, costs, limitations, and risks rather than promoting one-sided conclusions.
  • Accessibility: We write for beginners and avoid unnecessary jargon.

Research and sources

We prefer primary and authoritative sources when available, including government agencies, central banks, regulators, official statistics, legislation, academic research, and recognized international institutions. When we use secondary sources, we consider their reputation, transparency, evidence, and relevance.

Important factual claims may include links or references within the article or in a source section. Because financial rules and data can change, readers should check current local requirements before making decisions.

Independence and conflicts

Finlitera does not publish guaranteed-return claims, trading signals, or hidden promotional recommendations. Any sponsorship, affiliate relationship, partnership, or material conflict that could influence content should be clearly disclosed near the relevant content.

AI-assisted tools

Digital and AI-assisted tools may support research organization, drafting, editing, or formatting. They do not replace responsibility for the final published content. Material should be checked for clarity, consistency, unsupported claims, and misleading language before publication.

Corrections and updates

We correct meaningful factual, calculation, attribution, or wording errors when they are identified. Articles may also be updated when reliable information changes or when additional context improves the explanation. Where useful, an updated date is shown.

Educational scope

Finlitera provides general financial education. Content is not personal financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, or legal advice. Readers are responsible for considering their own circumstances and local rules.
